So, more reminiscing about allllll the old art I drew using openCanvas… a whole gob of it was Star Ocean fanart. So I decided to draw Nel (again) using openCanvas. It’d been a long time. Feels pretty good, but I’m way too spoiled by Painter these days. openCanvas still produces nice clean lines though – especially for me and my scratchy inking technique >_>
I still love the simplicty of her outfit 
plus the sassy thigh-high boots. Green-eyed Nel is still the best, too. Drew this pretty entirely from memory, phew. Lots of fun. I think originally it was going to be sort of a Adam Hughes-ish take, but changed my mind pretty quickly.
